Current Happenings At BRCC

A prayer at the beginning of our Lenten Season together:

Dear God, we glorify you for the life, death and resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to encounter His presence as we reflect upon His journey home to You. Along the way, when we face our struggles and suffer hardship, help us to hold on to our brother, Jesus, who went before us on the journey to the cross. May we follow Him. May we look into His eyes and into His heart and help us feel His grace and mercy so we can be free and forgiven to live and serve You. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Please bring in new socks and/or men’s underwear (all sizes). Donation box is in the Narthex. They also need clothing, especially as we start to enter the winter months. They are currently looking for more volunteers to help. Volunteers are needed to serve each Friday any time after 8:00am to 1:00pm. If you are interested, talk with Mark Candle, Marilyn Hardke or Pastor Tim.

Please bring in non-perishable food items and place them in the Good Neighbors collection box in the Narthex. Thank you for helping this wonderful ministry.

The box is up and ready to be used. Once we have a sign, we will put it up so the community knows the Box is open for them to use and can share their blessings, too. Collection box is in Narthex for donations.

If you love to sing, please join us as we practice after the 10:40 worship service. Our goal is to sing at least twice a month in the worship service. Our next time to sing is Sunday, August 18. Singers, please join us at 10:15am to practice and warm up.
